Steamboat Ski Resort spans six distinct peaks: Mount Werner, Sunshine Peak, Storm Peak, Thunderhead Peak, Mahogany Ridge, and Christie Peak. With 3,741 acres of permitted terrain, the mountain offers a diverse range of trails for skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels, from beginner-friendly groomers to challenging expert terrain and legendary tree skiing.

Steamboat pioneered the Kids Ski Free™ program in 1982, helping families make lasting mountain memories while getting more value from their ski vacation.
- Who Qualifies: Children ages 12 and under.
- Adult Ticket Requirement: A qualifying parent, grandparent, or legal guardian must purchase a 5-or-more-day adult lift ticket.
- Free Child Ticket: One child per qualifying adult, for the same number of ski days.
- Advance Purchase: Tickets must be purchased before the applicable seasonal deadline.
- Proof of Age: Documentation may be required.
